Stephanie is an information scientist who began her professional career as a law librarian specializing in technology, then spent two decades in web usability, technology consulting and information management.
After extensive personal experience wrangling estates that were poorly planned and largely undocumented, she realized that most people were woefully unprepared for the inevitable, and needed help to get their personal and technological affairs in order. Still others were stymied by the prospect of being an executor - a detailed and demanding role that often falls during a difficult emotional time. Stephanie founded Orderly Estates in order to bridge this gap.
Stephanie has a B.A. in American Civilization from George Washington University and an M.S. in Information Science and Technology from Drexel University.
What We Do
We are experienced executors: thorough, detail-oriented and skilled at dealing with bureaucratic processes. We can identify often overlooked tasks and issues that require an executor's attention.
We are your planning partner. We can show you how to get your own affairs in order, and ensure that your future executor has the tools and information necessary to fulfill your wishes.
Lastly, we are technologists. We understand the many aspects of your online presence, including social networks, e-commerce and financial accounts, and the requirements of each service.
What Sets Us Apart
We understand that there is much more to resolving an estate than crossing items off a list; this is a very human, very emotional experience.
We acknowledge the unique challenges of the grieving process and strive to work with family members and beneficiaries in a sensitive and constructive manner.
